The Story of Naya Mizaaj
NM began as a continuation, not just of a family wardrobe, but of a way of seeing clothes.
A note from the founder: It started with my mother’s khazana: her beautiful collection of shalwar kameez from the ’90s and 2000s. I grew up surrounded by vintage silhouettes, thoughtful details, and the kind of clothes that made getting dressed feel exciting. I spent my childhood dressing up in my mother’s clothes, heels, and makeup, long before I knew it would become part of my work.
That love for clothing stayed with me. I wanted to keep the vintage energy I grew up with, but give it a fresh, creative direction for this generation and bring back true fit, petite sizes that fit like they did back in our moms' era.
Naya Mizaaj was built on one belief: Classic doesn’t have to mean predictable.
